Summer Pennsylvania Wine Slushies

In need of a cool, refreshing cocktail to try out this Summer? Look no further than our Pennsylvania Wine Slushies!

Strawberry + Mint Slushy
Makes 2-3 servings per ice tray

Ingredients:

  • 1 ice tray
  • 1/2 pint of fresh local strawberries
  • a few mint leaves
  • 1 bottle of Pennsylvania white wine
  • 1 lime

Directions:

  1. Roughly chop the strawberries and mint leaves to fit in each ice cube mold.
  2. Fill each ice cube mold with PA white wine.
  3. Freeze overnight.
  4. Pop out the frozen wine cubes and grate some lime zest into a blender.
  5. Pour 1/2 a cup of PA white wine into the blender then blend until smooth.
  6. Pour mixture into cocktail glasses.
  7. Garnish with half a strawberry and a small mint leaf and ENJOY!

 

Blueberry + Basil Slushy
Makes 2-3 servings per ice tray

Ingredients:

  • 1 ice tray
  • 1/2 pint of fresh local blueberries
  • a few basil leaves
  • 1 bottle of Pennsylvania white wine
  • 1 lemon

Directions:

  1. Roughly chop the basil leaves and add a few blueberries to fit in each ice cube mold.
  2. Fill each ice cube mold with PA white wine.
  3. Freeze overnight.
  4. Pop out the frozen wine cubes and grate some lemon zest into a blender.
  5. Pour 1/2 a cup of PA white wine into the blender then blend until smooth.
  6. Pour mixture into cocktail glasses.
  7. Garnish with a few blueberries and a basil leaf and ENJOY!
