Party Planning: How much wine to buy for a party

Summer is a time for outdoor parties and gatherings.

We know planning can be a bit stressful, so we have devised a magical wine formula to help all you party planners out there. Sometimes, you run into the problem of not having enough wine to (safely) satisfy your guests and other times, you find yourself with a lot leftover, (which isn’t always a bad thing.) Below is a fool-proof formula for making sure you buy the perfect amount of wine.

# Guests drinking wine x Length of party ÷ 4 = # Bottles

For example, if you are having an office party with 22 guests, 20 of them are drinkers, and the party is scheduled to last 2 hours that would be: 20 x 2 ÷ 4 = 10 bottles.
