This Fourth of July, head to a Pennsylvania winery — they’ll have the red and white (wine) covered, so you’ll just need to wear some blue! All across the state, vineyards and wineries are hosting events to celebrate the birth of our country, from a family-friendly BBQ to an evening of spectacular fireworks and wine.
Here’s a sampling of the patriotic events happening across PA Wine Land.
All week long, enjoy red, white, and blue wine slushies at the Isle House OR sangrias at their Shops at the Colony location for just $5 a glass – and receive 15% off if you buy 3 wine bottles or more.
4th of July is all about BBQs. Join Chaddsford Winery for their food and wine filled BBQ featuring local food trucks, live music, and, of course, wine. Admission is free, and all wine and food purchases will be pay-as-you-go.
Relax at the vineyard and savor this patriotic pairing: a glass of RED and a glass of WHITE paired with three local BLEU cheeses from local artisans. Not a bleu cheese fan? No problem! Substitutions will be available upon request.
It’s that time of year again – watch as the annual Millersburg fireworks light up the nights sky! Enjoy food from local vendors, LIVE music, drink specials, wine slushies, and much more.
Normally happy hour is reserved for chilling out after a long day at work – but not today. Spend the happiest of hours celebrating our Nation’s birthday at Crossing Vineyards. Take advantage of the happy hour pricing on glasses of Crossing’s award-winning wines and special snacks too!
You’re free to toast to our nation with either a glass of wine or a wine slushy. Relax and drink in the gorgeous panoramic views from the patio or pavilion.
Join Woody Lodge Winery for a star-spangled wine walk at Mack Park. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the YMCA, Downtown Indiana, or Woody Lodge Winery.
Be a part of this July 4th tradition – watch the fireworks from the deck of Cassel Vineyards while sipping on a glass of wine and snacking on some picnic bites.
The Annual Reds, Whites, and Blues Festival is back! Soak in a wonderful afternoon overlooking the vineyards and the Susquehanna River Hills, while learning about locally produced wine and cider and listening to local blues musicians. Local food vendors will also be on site to keep your stomach satisfied.
