Wine Education Series: Women in Wine

Celebrate International Women’s Day with Penns Woods Winery as we present a special Wine Education Series class on the influential women in the wine industry while drinking the fruits of their labor!

Join Penns Woods Winery Sommelier, Pam Hall as she presents how women have been making their mark throughout the history of wine and how they have paved the way for others to follow. From a young French widow to the first female winemaker in the U.S., the rich history of women breaking barriers in the world of wine will be talked about as you enjoy the fruits of their labor. Each participant will have the opportunity to taste through a variety of 9 wines from these empowering women such as Sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc, semi-dry Whites, Pinot Noir, and more!

Crackers will be provided to cleanse your palate between each wine tasted, but you may also purchase a personal charcuterie snack box to enjoy while learning!
