One of the favorites at the 1723 vineyards white wine collection and is the newest addition to our estate portfolio. McMaster vineyard climate adds a unique profile to our Albariño Albariño is purely elegant showcasing brilliant greenish- grey colors in the glass. This wine reminisces aromas of pear, nectarine, lemon zest and hints of fennel. The bright palate entry leads into rich flavors of grapefruit and lemon oil, balanced with wet stone and brioche. A persistent finish culminates with notes of cantaloupe, grapefruit peel whit wet stone and salinity hints
This wine displays a deep purple color in the glass. The aromatic profile is quite lively with multiple layers of red fruit like cramp berries, wild raspberry, blackcurrant and dates, complexed by impressions of charcuterie and charred/smokey meats, blackberry pastille, toasted bread, and spice. Integrated with a mid-palate with an assortment of fruits such as dates and fresh figs. The finish is rounded, with a minimal oak impact texture and a good balance of tannins and acidity.
Cabernet Franc is by far the favorite varietal for 1723 vineyards proprietor, the one that most expresses the terroir of McMaster vineyard. A wine that’s only created when the most higher conditions of qualities are met. The 2016 Cabernet Franc is all about complexity and style displaying deep ruby colors, with an intense aroma of white pepper, black pepper, light elegant eucalyptus that collides with carob/ dark chocolate flavors against a background of lightly charred, cedar oak. At the palate, it reveals itself to be sweet and smooth, due to the presence of round ripe tannins, perfectly balanced and integrated with no rough edges. Elegant notes of tobacco, with hints of cigar and bitter chocolate, were achieved thanks to its aging on specially selected oak barrels for 12 months.
