Over two hundred and twenty-five years ago, after journeying decades in the new world, Galen’s German ancestors settled on to the farm. The undulating hills and secreted valleys undoubtedly reminded them of home. Isolated and farming unyielding fields, they struggled with every harvest. Today, the ridge and valley property grows an abundance of grapes. The soil, elevation, and location combine to create an extraordinary microclimate, characterized by dry summers and long cool autumns perfect for ripening wine grapes.
