Thunder Ridge Vineyards started years ago as a home winemaking and vineyard operation. Jeff Gormley and his daughter, Alex, are partners in the business. Thunder Ridge Vineyards strives to grow and sell grapes that create high-end wines, produce enjoyable unique wines, and educate wine consumers. Thunder Ridge’s wines are produced from a variety of grapes and fruits. The majority of the wines will be a dry style wine, however semi-sweet and sweet wines are available. The grape growing and wine making takes place on a six-acre farm in Heidelberg Township, between Hanover and Spring Grove. Homemade wine is now a thing of the past, and Thunder Ridge Vineyards is now a licensed commercial producer of wines.
