Jan Waltz, a sixth-generation Lancaster County farmer obtained his agriculture-related degree from Penn State and paved the way for Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery. The winery is situated on the Waltz’ family farm atop a beautiful hill in Lancaster County. For generations, the farm was used to produce traditional crops including tobacco, corn, soybeans and wheat but slowly proved to be the perfect setting for world-class vineyards. The farm enjoys a unique micro-climate similar to Northern Italy and Central France and boasts well-drained soils and abundant airflow.
Waltz Vineyards features estate-grown premium wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. Reservations are required.
