Pennsylvania Wine School

Chambour-what? Vidal who? Pennsylvania is home to a bunch of unique, lesser-known grape varietals. Some of the wines they produce have similar flavor profiles to wines you already love (Cab lovers should get to know PA’s Chambourcin), while others are unlike anything you’ve ever tasted. All are worth getting to know before your next PA Wine Land visit and The PA Wine Land Post is at your service to help you cram. We will be adding a new “lesson” each month until we cover all 27 of our local varietals, so keep checking back. And for a quick primer, turn to The (new!) PA Wines Guide for bite-sized profiles on each varietal.
