Adams County Winery Honors America250 with Revere’d Red and Liberty White

Orrtanna, PA - On March 7, Adams County Winery will officially unveil two commemorative wines created in
celebration of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States: Revere’d Red and Liberty White. The releases will be featured throughout 2026 as part of the America 250 and Pennsylvania PA250 celebrations.
Designed as companion pieces, the wines and their artwork reflect two defining moments in the American story.

Revere’d Red draws inspiration from the midnight ride of Paul Revere, capturing the urgency, courage, and
conviction of a nation on the brink of change. Semi-dry yet approachable, the wine reflects a bold yet inviting
character.

Liberty White serves as its daylight counterpart, symbolizing the hope, clarity, and promise that followed the fight for independence. The label evokes the enduring spirit of freedom represented by the Statue of Liberty, while the wine itself is crafted in a smooth, sweet style designed for broad appeal.

Together, the labels capture the spirit of a country shaped by resolve, sacrifice, and enduring ideals.
The commemorative designs were developed in-house as part of Adams County Winery’s ongoing commitment to honoring the history of the region it calls home. The Farm Winery operates from a bank barn built in the late 1860s, connecting the winery to the era of rebuilding that followed the Civil War, and to the historic landscape that defines the Gettysburg area. This release extends a longstanding tradition of storytelling through wine, standing alongside the winery’s historic Gettysburg collection, which includes Tears of Gettysburg (1988), Rebel Red (1999), and Traveler (2011) as complementary additions.

“America was founded in Philadelphia and later tested on the fields of Gettysburg,” said Jordan Bigler, Special
Projects Manager at Adams County Winery. “Being rooted here gives us a unique appreciation for the moments that shaped our nation. These wines are our tribute to that legacy and to the spirit of America 250.”

Established in 1975, Adams County Winery is currently the fifth oldest operating winery in Pennsylvania, and Gettysburg’s original winery. The public unveiling and first tasting of Revere’d Red and Liberty White will take place March 9 at the Farm Winery in Orrtanna, PA, with tastings and purchases also available at the Gettysburg Wine Shop in downtown Gettysburg.
