The Pennsylvania Winery Association (PWA) invites you to fill out this Application to be considered to be a judge at the 2026 Sommelier Judgement of PA.

Not all applicants will be accepted. You will be notified of acceptance in a separate invitation by August 1, 2026 to the email noted on your application. We appreciate the time and interest to join and should you not be accepted for the 2026 year, we would welcome you to the Harvest Celebration on October 9, 2026 at Stone Gables Estate where the "Best Of" Category Winners will be announced.

The Pennsylvania Winery Association (PWA), which is an advocate for PA’s 400-plus wineries, invited wineries from across the state to submit locally grown and produced vinifera wines and select hybrids for blind judgment by a panel of 20 top sommeliers, wine buyers and wine writers in the region.
PA Sommelier Judgement Day is an opportunity for Pennsylvania wineries to showcase cool climate varietals that are known to grow well in PA with wine buyers, restaurateurs, wine writers and sommeliers.
Judges are selected based on their support of local wine within their respective industries. Sommelier Judgement provides an opportunity for wineries to share their best wines with industry members who are looking to help bring PA wines to the forefront within the retail space and consumers.
